From Dreaming to Writing: The Declic

I’ve always loved stories.

Manga, anime, dramas, games. I spent most of my life watching other people’s adventures, and living my own… in my dreams.

For a long time, I wanted to share my own stories too.

So I tried everything: drawing, animation, filmmaking… everything except the simplest way: writing. (There’s a reason I never thought about writing novels… but that’s a story for another article 😉). I even tried to become a YouTuber, dreaming that if I became popular, I could finally make my own anime. But like everything else, it failed miserably.

So I kept my stories in my head. I imagined them, rewrote them, replayed them… but I never knew what to do with them.

Then one day, I discovered webnovels.

A sort of manga… but told with words instead of pictures. Fast to read. Simple to write. No fancy language, no big publisher needed. Anyone could share their story, quickly and for free.

And the best part? If a story became popular, it could be adapted into a book, a manga, or even an anime. Most of my favorite anime actually started this way.

That was perfect for me!

I didn’t need to draw. I didn’t need a lot of money. I just needed to write. And who knows… maybe one day my story could become a manga. Or even an anime. (I won’t lie, that’s my biggest dream.)

And that’s when I made the choice that would change my life forever:

“I will become a writer.”

I was thrilled to see where this new journey would take me… but it didn’t last long. The first challenges appeared almost as fast as I made my decision.

Will I give up again, or fight my way through?
